Historic Preservation
Joy Guilford presenting for Sean Bolen: The Leonard Place triplex on passed review; he expects an increase in projects for the spring.
Beautification
Dave Ticehurst presenting for Margareth Olsson: First Creek Cleanup very successful—they were hoping for 30 people to participate and got 88, and collected 3,500 pounds of trash. Media coverage showed up and city officials were there. Still looking for someone to take over beautification chair and First Creek Greenway. Additional discussion: There’s a person who may be available to clean up Beth Ann Booker Park for $40/hr or $75/hr for two people. Someone is doing all the dog bags west of Broadway now.
Public Works
Dustin Durham: Retooling the survey to be digital. Website suggestions: Establish a page for each committee and integrate Instagram more. Trees Knoxville: He has volunteered to be the point person for the neighborhood with that organization and will be providing additional information at coming meetings.
Communication
Donna Spencer: Newsletter will be out soon. Drew Sparks presented concepts for a new banner and website with digital banner images, all of which were enthusiastically received.

Kelly Arsenault seconded, and the motion was approved in a voice vote. Some discussion of banner production: the last set of 10 banners was $1,690, done by Material Promotions in Connecticut. He’ll get some quotes from local providers.
Home Tour
Martin Cordell: Starting to look for houses to showcase on the tour.
Social
Kelly Arsenault: Great egg hunt—Pete was a terrific Easter Bunny, weather was lovely, potluck also very good. Note for next year to provide more eggs.
Upcoming socials will be first Wednesday each month, 7-9, Schulz Bräu. Porch crawl postponed, still looking at new dates. Tentatively September 27—away game and far enough from Halloween.
Dave Ticehurst has lots of leftover frozen hot dogs from the creek cleanup event and offered to host an informal event in May at his house with one other person to help out.
