Why Feature Your Home?
The Victorian Holiday Home Tour is our biggest event of the year, bringing about 2,000 guests from all over Knoxville and the surrounding area to our neighborhood. It's a fantastic chance to share the community's friendly welcome, unique spirit, and beautiful historic architecture.
By featuring your home, you're also helping to support our community. The tour is a major fundraiser, with proceeds going toward charitable causes and neighborhood projects like the playground, gazebo, and historic street signs in our community.
You don't need a specific type of home to participate - all homes within the neighborhood boundaries are eligible, whether they are large or small, historic, or newly built. The tour features a variety of homes, from preserved historic gems to those that blend classic charm with modern updates.
The goal is to showcase the diverse architecture and unique character of Old North Knoxville.

We disagree, all of our homes are perfect! Just like yours, many of the homes in the neighborhood are improving every day. Guests love seeing homes with original details and hearing about your plans for modernization. Your home's unique character and the love you pour into it is exactly what makes it a perfect fit for the tour.
How do we handle that many people in the home?

For many people, the tour is an annual Christmas tradition. We have been hosting this event for 35 years and guests are always kind and complimentary. You'll get to meet new friends both in the neighborhood and beyond. This way you can share your home with people who truly appreciate it—and you'll likely receive countless compliments on your beautiful space.
How much work does it take to get ready for the tour?

We have dozens of neighbors and friends who volunteer to help guide people through the homes, answer questions, and provide a warm welcome. The home tour committee also provides pizza for your volunteers on Saturday evening and checks in with you frequently during the event to ensure everything is going smoothly.
Tour Details
The tour is the first full weekend of December every year - below are the dates for this year!

Saturday, December 6, 2025: 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Sunday, December 7, 2025: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
We will also have a pre-tour party for homeowners and volunteers on Friday, December 5. While not strictly required, it's also a great opportunity for neighbors to view your home for a brief time before the party.

The 1915 Paull House exemplifies Craftsman architecture with its sturdy design, rejecting Victorian excess. Noteworthy features include a solid porch with heavy wood beams and brick piers, original plaster, hardwood floors, and built-ins. Built for Charles H. and Flora Rowe Paull (of Rowe Transfer & Storage), the home retains its historic character.
